Regarding MailChimp
As somewhat anticipated, MailChimp has flagged our account as violating their terms of use, so we are going to drop using it. I'm not even sure mail can be sent from it now in any case. It's astonishing that after all the years adult content has been out there on the internet, these companies still have a burr up their arse about it. Sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused you.
Re: Regarding MailChimp
Many of the companies are trying to promote the image of the dominant woman. They usually see the damsel-in-distress as another form of male domination and try to curb that influence. These companies, and people, do not realize that the damsel-in-distress genre does not actually promote the subjugation and domination of men over women. It is just that the DiD community feels a woman looks better tied up than a male victim. On ALL of the forums I follow concerning DiD-themed material, The promotion of "dominating" the woman in real life is never encouraged. Those few posters who do lean towards that have been informed that their views are not tolerated and they need to post elsewhere, preferably, somewhere where the proper authorities can view their material for evidence against them later.
I, for one, have been an avid fan of the Damsel-in-Distress genre for many years. I am an avid fan of a few studios whose material showcase this genre very well. I belong to a few forums where we discuss this genre, share photos, mainstream video content, and commercial teasers. After all of this, I have NO desire to kidnap a woman just to tie her up and gag her. I watch violent, action and silly sitcom content on the television and yet I have no desire to rob a bank, shoot up a venue, cheat on the wife, or run for political office. I feel my life is balanced. I have a stable home life so I sit comfortably and watch these shows and not feel like that I am going to be influenced to commit those acts later.
This is my rant! I will get off my soapbox now. Sorry about MailChimp. The advantage is that the Internet shows MANY companies who are great alternatives to MailChimp.

Would you care to suggest any?
Re: Regarding MailChimp
Be happy to, To quote from "MailChimp Controversies":
Mailchimp used to be one of the top email marketing services on the market. They grew in popularity due to their famous “forever free” plan.
However, in the recent years they have failed to keep up with innovation especially when it comes to marketing automation.
To make matter worst, their recent pricing changes is not user friendly because they’re now charging businesses for unsubscribed users in their account. You should NOT have to pay for subscribers who are no longer receiving messages from you.
Their support has become increasingly unhelpful and almost every request gets a standard message like: we’re forwarding this to our engineering or leadership team.
While they’re using fancy marketing lingo such as “all in one marketing platform”, you don’t have the availability to do basic things like bulk delete more than 100 contacts at a time.
ALTERNATIVES
1. Constant Contact: Constant Contact is the best email marketing service for small businesses and non-profits.

Re: Regarding MailChimp
Thank you for all this. Very thorough. Unfortunately, I am not looking for a mailing service where I have to start paying what I consider outrageous fees every month. I'd probably only send out about 8 messages so it really isn't worth it. There used to be free services which were very simple, just emails, none of this campaign crap, but they have gone the way of the dodo. I'll probably not worry about it.
Thanks again for taking the trouble.
