There is an attic but not suitable for use. Rafters but no proper flooring, and tons of boxes with all kinds of stuff in the way. It's also incredibly hot in the summer and very cold during the winter.

They are so cocky. I have one that sits right next to my foot when I feed the birds, ready for anything that may drop into its mouth.

Yes, squirrels and pigeons always hang around under bird feeders while the little birds they were designed for throw them a few scraps.

We had a coyote drop by our place for a visit. The wife just looked at it and asked if it was a coyote and then went about her business. Later that night, she sees a one-foot (small) garden snake resting on the sidewalk. She just about nearly woke up the entire neighborhood. Of course, I am in the dog house because I shoo it away instead of killing it!

At least you did not have this!
