I remember my Senior English teacher getting all embarrassed trying to explain this to our class without trying to go into explicit details. We played dumb to force her to dive deeper into the meaning. Finally, one young lady in the class told the teacher that about half of the young men had already enjoyed some honey-comb already, so, the teacher did not need to get embarrassed about explaining the stanzas. The young lady received detention for this comment.
