Jasmine is the start of a TV show where she plays an intrepid detective always getting herself into perilous fixes. While she is in the middle of filming a scene where she is tied to a chair next to a bomb, the director calls cut and announces to the crew that the show has been cancelled, and that they are to stop production immediately. Everyone is shell-shocked and departs, forgetting all about poor Jasmine still bound and gagged, and growing more angry at being left there by the minute.

A week later, Jasmine is relaxing at home in nothing but bra and panties, chatting about the cancellation to her agent, when a knock comes on the door. To her surprise and consternation, an avid fan of the show has tracked her down. He is so obsessed with the whole thing he seems to believe it is actually real. Jasmine stands up and backs away as the man shows her the bomb he built, an exact replica of the one on the show. He hates the fact that the show has been cancelled and that the finally, incomplete story will never be resolved. However, he has a solution for that: He plans to tie up Jasmine and set his bomb ticking, then film her escaping before the explosion. Jasmine tries to explain that the device shown on the show was just a prop, a fake. This upsets the obsessed fan who decides he wants Jasmine to prove her mettle by escape for real.

I'd be happy to write at least one script. Is there any backstory I need to know? Does she have a sidekick? Cadence, perhaps...

I have considered series like this, but the problems are always the same - the investigations would all have to occur in the same place, and most of the time they would be into the same man. That's why one-off scripts tend to work best. It's also a big commitment and may turn out not to be very popular, in which case, financial ruins awaits. It's okay if customers want to commission customs to cover most of the cost (typically $600-$800 for two models and several hours of work), but I can't afford to commit resources to something like this on my own, especially these days.

Although I was speaking tongue in cheek, I really would watch a series of these! I hadn't thought it through, though, had I? It would require significant suspension of belief to see the same villain and venue each time, though maybe with some convincing disguises and imaginative camera angles it could be pulled off. It would after all have Jasmine to distract us from any shortcomings in other areas...

OK, OK, but it could be good for a custom, at least!

You could probably write a script for one episode as a custom request. It would be interesting to see how that one video would play out. If cost is an issue, would a collaboration be possible? I mean, I might be willing to contribute, financially, if the story-line contains elements I enjoy. I do tend to be very specific with my themes. However, if it would cost about $600-$800 for two models and several hours to create this custom video and we can get three or four us to contribute, that would be about the cost of making a short custom with one model from each person. Just an idea.

Finally got this one at the weekend.
I really like it - one of Jasmine's best performances (and best outfits - sorry!). Our 'villain' is top-notch, too (not commenting on the outfit).
As a big fan of BTS stuff, the extended out-take at the end was a nice bonus, too.

Still thinking about trying to stage an episode of 'Perilous Investigations'...
