What Do You Look For In Bondage Videos?

With so many producers and studios out there making bondage videos, what are the criteria on your list to help you determine if a video, studio, or producer is right for you?

For me, the main criteria is that there is ABSOLUTELY NO SEX OR RAPE! The woman is bound and helpless but not for the sexual gratifications that will come. Rather, other motives are in place: ransom, removal, robbery, revenge, etc.
I have chosen Beauties-In-Bondage mainly for this reason. I know his videos will be sexy and spectacular but will not have any indication of sexual play, whether consensual or forced. I know, therefore, I am in for a treat.
I like to see the woman stripped down to her underwear, bra & panties. For me, any color will do. Making her strip herself seems like a waste to me. Why not bind her and remove the clothes yourself? I know this cost money and my custom requests will reflect that charge! No problem for me. Dave, Rachel, and a few others have knocked it out of the park for me.

Is there a clothing clause in your Bondage wish list? Would it be Bondage if the damsel is not gagged? What is a proper gag? What are your favorite bondage styles or types? Does the model count or will any model be good?

I'd like to see nude, white, off-white, or ivory hosiery. I often find myself passing on new content because the models wear black nylons. I get that dave thinks black helps ropes stand out more, but it's a turn-off for me.
I'm also partial to white, knotted cleave gags.

Any little bit helps. Dave has asked for input from forum members for a long time. If you like nude or white hosiery, maybe that is what needed.

That would be a good suggestion. Clothing choice is important to many people in their custom requests. I imagine the same can be said of straight-to-store videos.

What criteria do you use to tick off when choosing a good bondage video to purchase? With a commission, you would, to an extent, get to choose and tick off your criteria so I am going with store purchases.
Do you look for a particular model? Do you prefer a particular type of model? Does race, ethnics, or nationality play a role in your decision? What about skin markings? YES! Tattoos! Are tattoos a consideration or a turn off for a potential purchase?
Would it be clothing choice? Do you prefer the business attire, formal wear, or the casual look? Would you be into a specific clothing look like sports attire? Are there particular items you prefer them to wear? I know one who would love to see some lederhosen bondage. One on this forum loves nude, tan, or white pantyhose or stockings.
What about the bondage? That usually set the tone that grabs the attention to start. Do you like spread-eagle, chair-tie, hog-tie, or suspended? Is it bondage if the damsel is not gagged? What kind of gag should it be? Cleave, ball, tape?
Each one of us has our checklist. What would your checklist include?

I'm afraid this is why I largely ignore specific preferences. Often, they will relate to only one person, two at most. Every person who writes to me tells me what it would take for them to buy a video from me, and they alway highlights one specific thing. Without it, they don't buy, no matter how illogical including it would be. Each person's "specific thing" is different from everyone else's. In other words, it's impossible to please everyone. I have to go with my instincts, and by and large, it pays off.

Dave, for you, yes! I do get it!. However, I still LOVE your content. I would not be here if I did not love it. I was asking others to generate more of a conversation. I know you work off the top of your head and with what you have available. It has been a strategy that has worked well for you for years. If we do want specifics, we can always commission a video production. That has worked so well for me in the past.
Still, I like to generate conversation. Plus, feedback does help, I always think. Especially, like how does Lady Lazarus fit into your productions? You had asked about her qualities.
