Models speak
Does anyone else quite like hearing their favourite models talk about their experiences, adventures, preferences, maybe? There's a nice one with Jasmine, chained up and interviewed; there's some chat in amongst some of the 'escape challenge' videos; there's scope during the ones where we watch someone get tied up. I also like the 'Previously, on Beauties-in-Bondage...' intros to some recent sequels. As a gag-lover, the downside is the necessity for our favourites to go gagless for a while, but there's room for a bit of both... Something that really appeals is a 'commentary' version of a video (like you might get on a film or TV DVD), where the stars, producer, etc. talk a bit about what went well or badly, relate hilarious anecdotes about the filming, curse the customer's script, etc. I wonder if any of these things are of interest to others, such that they might be worth doing more of, or trying out...
Re: Models speak
I have never thought about that before but I like your idea. It would be interesting to listen to these models tell about their experiences doing these shoots, what their thoughts are while bound, what they thought about certain scenarios or themes. I have a particular theme I like in my videos. I understand it is not a huge market for that theme but I would like to, at some point, hear what these models thought about when creating a video with my favorite theme with bondage.
Re: Models speak
You can get some idea of what the models think if you get a message with your custom, but that's often quite short and more of a 'thank you', so would at best scratch the surface.
I personally would be very interested in 'commentary track' videos, but perhaps they would have limited appeal. Then again, no extra filming would be necessary, I presume. Naively, I imagine Dave and a model could sit down during a filming break and watch an earlier clip, talking about it over a cup of tea and recording the conversation.
Perhaps not that simple. Perhaps not appealing to my proposed participants...

Funny scenario. I mean in this way. My wife and I like to watch HGTV on cable. One shoe in particular is "Love It or List It". Recently, the network has been creating new shows where the two hosts will betting down on a couch, drinking coffee & tea, while watching an old episode of "Love It or List It" that had aired a few years prior. During the rerun, the two hosts will talk with each other about what they were thinking at that particular time, why they made certain decisions on that show, what they thought the homeowners wanted, and, especially, at the end, what they had expected from the whole experience in comparison to what had actually occurred. The concept is very interesting as one gets an inside or behind-the-scenes look and feel of what actually transpired while filming that particular episode. Also one gets to know what were the expectations versus the actual results.
With the Models Speak, one would be able to get a better understanding of what are the processes that went into making that video. Dave and his guest would be able to tell about what they liked and did not like about shooting the video. Also, they would be able to tell what their expectations were about the video and the actual results. Did they enjoy the experience of shooting the video or was it just a simple video shoot because the model was available and Dave wanted to shoot another video? Did they expect the video to perform well and did it perform well in sales? Other topics would be discussed but, it would still be interesting to hear Dave and the models tell of their experiences in a comfortable setting.

This would indeed be fun. The reason hesitate is that shoots are pretty full - we often have customs to do, and even taking on three can lead to a 7-hour shoot day, which is exhausting for all concerned. From the outside, it all looks like a lark, I'm sure.adivie wrote: ↑Thu Sep 10, 2020 1:05 pmFunny scenario. I mean in this way. My wife and I like to watch HGTV on cable. For me, I have to start preparing at least one day before a shoot, earlier if props are needed. I get the script and then find the clothes and shoes for the model(s) to wear, making sure they have been laundered. I have to make sure all the ropes I need are available for each custom, or handcuffs, zip ties, ball gags, cleave gags, etc. The cloth gags all have to be made from large sheets of material (purchased and washed beforehand). Ball gags have to be sterilized; I have to check that I have enough zip ties or plastic cuffs, accounting for instances where they are secured too tightly and have to be cut off. We sometimes go through two or three zip ties or cuffs per video. The plastic cuffs are typically $2-3 each.
Then I have to decide where to film each scene. If the weather looks to be bad, outdoor scenes have to be redesigned for the interior. Lights have to be set up in each location. Furniture needs to be placed ready for use.
Camera batteries need to be charged, discs wiped for use, and a general check on the cameras to make sure they are working correctly. Now that we film in 4K, we need to make sure the discs can handle all the data; we collect at least 100 GB per shoot.
In addition to these preparations, work has to continue on updating websites and C4S stores (there are 3 stores and 8 C4S studios, though only four are updated on anything like a regular basis). Remastering or enhancing older videos (to fill the production gaps) can takes hours for each, depending on how much massaging they need to bring them up to modern standards.
On the other side of the business, there is dealing with the models themselves, making sure they are going to show up on the right day, and that they know what is expected of them. Their questions have to be answered, and often they want to see the scripts ahead of time to make sure they are happy with what they are being asked to do.
On the customs side, I am lucky to have Natalie pitching in to help. We used to work together years ago (she was actually a shared secretary who, by various means, figured out what I did in my spare time, and was much amused by it - she always said I had the perfect disguise, whatever that means). She takes some of the load off my shoulders since going back and forth with shaping customs can take quite a bit of time. I can't hire her full time (she does have a career after all), but we get by.
Producing commentary videos would take a while, and would cost money to make of course. I am also not sure of the market for them. It's the kind of thing that could be done occasionally, but would probably have to be with a fairly recent production. After a few years, neither the models nor I can remember the details of what happened on a particular shoot, beyond the large scale things.
Re: Models speak
I didn't mean to suggest there would be NO work involved, and flippantly suggesting a quick natter over a cup of tea does you all a disservice. Having said that, your description of just how much there is to do when shooting a video suggests to me this might be a bit less labour-intensive.
But it would be down to you and the models (and Natalie? And your cameraman/lady? And henchman Tony?) if you wanted to do something like this and if you felt it was sensible use of your time. And would make any money.
For what it's worth, you would definitely get one sale if any of the videos I've had a hand in were to get this treatment.

For all those guys who fondly imagine it to be their dream job.

So who did you share her with?On the customs side, I am lucky to have Natalie pitching in to help. We used to work together years ago (she was actually a shared secretary who, by various means, figured out what I did in my spare time, and was much amused by it
Thought so!Wall Street (1987)
Gekko's secretary, Natalie, dismisses him, until Bud shows up at Gekko's office
Re: Models speak
"Share Secretary" made me wonder, also. It might also mean I spent WAY too much time on C4S looking at secretaries-in-peril videos.
Re: Models speak
Onward to the topic again. The marketability of a video in which the models talk about their thoughts and experiences of bondage, especially while under Dave's care, does not sound feasible. However, getting their thoughts and comments about the movies and the bondage, forced undressing, pee desperation, etc., on this forum would be a great addition, I believe. Granted, it would not be like "Only Fans" but GB2691 has a great idea here on getting the models comments on the subjects.
