Monica is casing a house for potential criminal activity, but she needs to make sure no one is around before going inside. She opens the door and calls out, but no one answers. Inside, she checks to make sure there are no vehicles visible anywhere, and is about to start searching for items of value when she feels a sting in her butt. The house is not empty after all. When Monica recovers, she finds herself tied to a chair. She struggles, but the ropes holding her are tightly secured. She then sees the person who caught in in the act, and she pleads with him to let her go, saying that she is clearly in the wrong house and that she didn't take anything. Unfortunately, he is not listening to her pleas and cleave gags her to cut down on the noise. Monica continues to struggle against the ropes but with no success. Eventually, the man returns and gets her ready to transport her down to his basement. Next time she becomes aware, she finds herself standing with her wrists cuffed above her head, attached to a pole. A zip tie is around her ankles to immobilize her further. She calls out, begging to be released. All this does is bring the silent man back to gag her again, this time with duct tape. He departs via the basement door, leaving Monica alone and helpless, who knows for how long.
