Alba is a bit annoyed that he has found out where she lives and is now on her doorstep, Alba agrees. She autographs his book and hands it back to him, urging him to go away. Instead, he looks surprised that she was cross with him, because he adores her. When she tries to close the door on him, he pushes his way in and grabs her, saying that this is not right, that she should be kind to him. In fact, he decides he will stay until she learns to like him too, so he asks her if there is any rope in the house. Alba, now hand-gagged, shakes her head no. James shrugs, and soon spots the duct tape on Alba's desk.

He tapes her wrists and ankles, then gags her with tape too. He secures her to a chair and adds more tape to her thighs, making sure she can't break free. He then goes out, saying he will go and buy some rope to make her more comfortable. After her leaves, Alba struggles desperately to get free. Finally, she remembers the scissors in her office area and works her way over to them. She manages to cut herself free and is just about to call the police when James returns and catches her.

Later, he has Alba hogtied on the floor, a cleave gag in her mouth. James is sitting on the sofa watching her, smiling contentedly now that he has the wonderful Alba Zevon at his feet. He is quite happy to watch her struggle. This goes on for a few minutes, then someone knocks on the door. Alba tries to call out for help but the gag muffles her cries. Things are about to get even worse for Alba, because Tony decides he is going to move her somewhere else, somewhere much quieter where no one, not even James, will know where she is.

While he is snoring, Alba manages to hop to the room where he is reclined on her couch, and she tries to open the door to get outside and summon help. The criminal has locked the door and removed the key. She sees her cellphone next to him on the couch and she attempts to reach it, but she disturbs the intruder before she can make a call. He carries her back to her bedroom and pits her in a tight hogtie to stop her moving around. The next day, the criminal's wound needs re-dressing, so Alba is freed to attend to him. He tells her it is her fault the wound opened because she tried to escape and he had to carry her. Alba is furious, squeezes his injury to make him buckle over, and then she makes a dash for the door. The criminal stops her, and this time he ties her tightly to a chair, gagging her with a bandana.
