The original plot:
Mrs Steele is enjoying her breakfast when Mr. Snead enters and greets her, inviting her along to the ministry where he is scheduled to have a chat with Sir Oswald who has information regarding the case they are working on. Mrs Steele declines, saying she plans to follow up on a few leads of her own by burgling a house. Later, while exploring the house, Mrs Steele is confronted by an armed man who is there to obliterate clues. A fight ensues and the agile Mrs Steele soon gains the upper hand. What she does not expect is a second intruder who creeps up behind her and chloroforms her. Mrs Steele wakes to find herself bound and gagged. She works long and hard and is making some progress on her bonds when Snead arrives to find out where she has been. He peels the duct tape from her mouth but declines to assist her, stating that he fully supports womens' liberation and feels that she untie herself. Before she can solve this problem, she is discovered. Her captor decides it might be safer to put her in another room altogether. There she is secured with ropes, still wearing her handcuffs. She manages to wriggle out of the ropes binding her legs and attempts to get away, but as soon as she passes through the door, her captor intercepts her.

Beverly must now remove her pantyhose and blindfold herself with them, before being told to lie face down on the floor. Here, she is rendered immobile again as her captor puts her in a tight hogtie. Left alone once more, Beverly struggles long and hard to work her way across the room, making a renewed attempt to recover her radio. She forces Beverly to produce her wallet, and Beverly thinks she is about to be robbed. instead, cadence looks at her driving license to get her address. She then orders Beverly to get out of the car and get into the back. Here, Cadence quickly zip ties the woman's wrists and ankles, gagging her with duct tape her before closing the hatch door. Cadence then gets behind the wheel and drives the car herself. A little later, they arrive at Beverly's house. Cadence frees her prisoner's ankles, but while cadence is retrieving her backpack from the car, Beverly makes a run for it. Her boss is not prepared to leave it at firing her, however; he is furious that she has undermined his stables and wants retribution. When Beverly goes on to admit that she knows he has been doping his horses, he realizes that he can't let her go. He ties her up, telling her that she has made a serious error of judgment since he has partners who are even less forgiving that he. Realizing the seriousness of her situation, Beverly makes a belated attempt to escape, but she can't get past her boss now that she is partially tied up. He finishes the job and gags her with a cleave gag, but not before stuffing a cloth into her mouth to silence her properly. Now he must transport Beverly some place where is business partners can deal with her. He carries her out to his car and places her on the back seat ready for her to make her final journey in this world.

She decides to play it cool and ask what the problem is, assuming the cop does not know about the money she has in the trunk of her car. The cop asks to see her driving credentials, and while he is away apparently running a check, Beverly starts to worry about missing her flight. What she does not see is the cop pouring a clear liquid onto a cloth inside his vehicle. When he returns he tells Beverly there is indeed a problem. When she demands to know what it is, he presses the cloth over her nose and mouth. Not quite the arrest she was expecting! The cop drags her from her car and carries her over his shoulder into the house. Here, he places her in handcuffs. When she wakes, Beverly finds her legs have been tied together and there is a gag in her mouth. Something is clearly very wrong. She quickly unties her feet and pulls her cuffed wrists over her feet, pulling the gag from her mouth as she runs for the door. As she opens it, she finds the cop on the other side returning with more rope. Beverly turns and tries to run, but the cop quickly catches her and drags her down. Beverly crawls on her still-cuffed hands and knees in an effort to get away, but the cop has hold of her ankles. Then he is on top of her, halting her progress. It turns out that he knows about the stolen money - a tip off led him to her and he decided that he could use the money for his retirement fund. She is then able to use her teeth to undo the knots and she gets free. Without bothering to retrieve her shoes, Beverly runs from the house and heads for the cover of the woods. As she is crossing the lawn, however, her captor fires a dart at her. As it strikes Beverly in the butt, she makes a grab for it but immediately begins to stagger. She drops to the ground, dizzy, disorientated, her senses fading. She crawls a short distance, trying to get away from her captor who is approaching at a casual stroll, knowing that his captive is not going anywhere. En-route to the police station, Jasmine has to make a stop to deal with another matter and leaves Beverly alone. Unbeknownst to Jasmine, Beverly has a paperclip in her jeans pocket and she uses it to pick the locks on the handcuffs. She looks around the car and finds that the cop is carrying more hardware than the standard issue, so she decides to wait for her return and have some fun with her. Jasmine gets back into the car oblivious to the fact that her prisoner is free. Before she can even start the engine, Beverly reaches around the seat and grabs Jasmine around the neck, taking her pistol from its holster and forcing the cop to lock herself in her own handcuffs. Beverly makes Jasmine step out of the car where she applies thumb cuffs to her thumbs, closing them tight above the thumb knuckles. She completes the job by putting the cop in leg irons, looping the chain through the handcuffs to completely immobilise her prisoner. Beverly, evidently not intoxicated at all, tells the cop that there is more going on here than she realizes, and then departs, leaving Jasmine chained up on the ground in one-hundred-degree heat, helpless and roasting in her black uniform, hoping that backup will find her soon.

He enters his bedroom as she is loading valuables into her purse and catches her red-handed. He says he plans to teach Beverly a lesson for stealing from her so-called friends. He handcuffs her to a chair and leaves her there until the party is over. By the morning, Beverly is tied to a stool and terrified to move - string is fastened around her neck and attached to the trigger of a gun mounted on a stand in front of her. The hammer is already cocked so the slightest pressure will make the weapon discharge. As he cleave gags her, the man tells her that she needs to sit very still, and that she must sit there all day until he comes home from work. Only then will he decide whether or not to summon the police, or keep her prisoner for further punishment. He wants to ensure that she fully pays the price for her dishonesty. After he leaves for work, Beverly starts carefully working on her bonds. She is tightly tied and progress is very slow. Hours pass and she is almost falling asleep. Several times she catches herself before she puts too much tension on the string attached to her neck. Finally, she manages to free her hands and untie the string from her throat. After she releases herself from the stool, she hurries out of the house, cursing the fact that she must abandon her purse.

He forces her to call her boyfriend to ask him for his work access security code, then he leaves Beverly tied to a chair and gagged. Beverly thinks he has left and struggles to get free, knowing that someone else will enter the changing room soon and find her. To her horror, the masked man returns, unties her and makes her take off her warming jacket and stand in front of an exercise pole. He ties her wrists together behind the pole, wraps rope around her waist and ankles, then ungags her so that she call call her boyfriend again to tell him that she is tied up and vulnerable, wearing only her swimming suit. He is amused by her fear and runs the muzzle of his gun over her body before finally applying new duct tape to her mouth and leaving her to wait for rescue.

When Beverly recovers, she finds herself in bondage, with Lily still working on securing her. Beverly is a defense attorney representing a client accused of kidnapping and murder. She feels his case is unwinnable and recommends that he plead guilty in the second degree and accept life imprisonment, which is better than the electric chair. The client is angry that she is not prepared to construct a better defense, and when she says that she no longer wishes to represent him at all, he mutters, "In that case, what's one more?" He throttles Beverly until she passes out, and when the recovers she finds herself hogtied on top of her desk. After some minutes of struggling, she manages to free herself and calls the police for help. No sooner has the call be made when the ex-client returns to see if she might have reconsidered. When her finds her free, he ties her to her office chair and gags her, making sure he has time enough to escape without her passing on more information to the police. When a cop finally arrives, Beverly is horrified to learn that he can't untie her before the scene- of-crime team arrives to process the crime scene, which includes her.

Beverly is driving home in the morning after an all night party. She is very tired and jumps a red light less than a mile from her house. To her dismay, a cop car begins to follow her, and when its siren whoops instructing her to pull over, she knows she is in trouble. Just a few yards from home, she parks in front of her house and waits for the cop. He comes to her window, instructs her to turn off the engine and asks to see her driving credentials. Beverly's driving licence appears to be missing so the cop says he will write her a ticket. Beverly pleads with him, saying that she can't afford to get another ticket. The cop says that perhaps they can come to some arrangement, if she is willing. Thinking he means sex, she climbs into the back of her vehicle, but is surprised when the cop says that he is going to tie her up. She protests mildly, but after another threat of receiving a ticket, she demurs and allows her wrists and ankles to be bound with rope. The cop sticks duct tape over Beverly's mouth, then says he will have to leave her there (his radio has just summoned him), but promises to return later to deal with her. Left alone, Beverly struggles with her bonds.
Additional comment: Beverly did manage to get her legs free but she was unable to untie to rope binding her wrists (someone is getting just too good at tying these days!). In a short postscript, we see Bev's hands being untied and she climbs out of the vehicle to show off her attractive evening gown.

Many people did not complete the U.S. census form in 2010 and many representatives were sent out to collect the missing information. Many met with resistance because people did not wish to provide the requested information, but few were as upset as the man Beverly went to visit. After arguing with her for several minutes, he grabs her by the throat and renders her unconscious. When she wakes, she finds herself tied to a chair and gagged, her shoes missing to prevent her running if she gets free. Beverly does indeed manage to free herself, but her captor finds her before she can get away, so he forces her to take off her pantyhose (saying he will gag her with them) and makes her lay face down on the floor. Here, we see him bind Beverly's wrists and ankles, then finally secure her in a hogtie.
Additional information: The idea was for Beverly to get herself free and make a run for it, but after a long struggle she admitted that she could not get out of the hogtie. It was necessary to undo a few knots for her in order to film the escape sequence.

When she comes to, Bev finds herself lying face down on her desk, wrists handcuffed to the table frame, her legs secured with rope, and a cleave gag in her mouth. Beverly is a representative from a law firm and she is delivering an injunction to stop a lumber company felling trees in woodland where they have no right to be. The foreman is not best pleased by her tone, and he decides to wrestle her to the ground and knock her out. When she regains consciousness, Beverley finds herself tied to a tree, her mouth duct taped, and the logging still going on in the distance. She works at her bonds and does manage to get her legs free after a while, but the ropes around her wrists hold her fast. There is no escape for this legal eagle.
Additional Comment: Bev was genuinely unable to free her wrists and finally asks the cameraman for help. This behind the scenes sequence last several minutes and shows Dave teasing Bev about leaving her tied to the tree. Bev takes it all quite well, but does end up throwing the duct tape at the camera and hitting it.

When she revives, she discovers her wrists and ankles have been secured with zip ties, and several strips of duct tape are stuck over her mouth.
