Dreamhost has decided it's time for an operating system upgrade. This means the server may be down for a couple of hours. Of course, they promise minimal disruption, but experience has taught me that some things will break. Best to avoid making new purchases on that day.

I am sure a Summer Sale would offset any revenue lost during those hours of downtime.

I've checked all the files and everything seems to be in place and working. Could this possibly be the first time in 15 years that Dreamhost got everything right when moving my stuff to a new server? I'm literally holding my breath.

Something actually goes right and we wonder if something is going to happen to offset the good karma!
