Sativa is a trainee para legal who is given the job of serving a subpoena to a man who has formerly refused to appear in court. When she tries the hand over the document, however, the man draws a weapon on her and forces her into the house. He makes Sativa lay down on the kitchen floor before he secures her wrists and ankles with thick, double-loop zip ties. He goes away to find something with which to gag her, and in his absence Sativa spots the house phone on the kitchen counter. She works her way over to the phone, planning to call for help, but the man returns before she gets the chance and drags her back across the floor before gagging her with a cloth. He also connects her wrists and ankles with a single zip tie, placing her in a hogtie and limiting her range of movement.
