Cadence Lux is an FBI agent given the boring task of protecting a witness who will testify in an upcoming criminal case. She wants nothing more than to have a mission that would give her a chance to become a Special Agent, little realizing events are about to take an unexpected turn. The witness has decided that he does not want to give up his life and spend the rest of his days in witness protection, so he informs Cadence that he has changed his mind about testifying. She tells him that it's too late now, and she tries to be authoritative and convincing, and while she thinks she is getting through to the witness, she is in fact in imminent peril. When he goes to another room, Cadence makes a phone call, letting down her guard. So she doesn't notice the witness approaching from behind with a white cloth. In matter of seconds he overpowers her and knocks her out. When she wakes, Cadence finds herself locked to a stool with her own handcuffs. The witness wraps duct tape around her ankles. While she tries to reason with him. He gags her to shut her up, then leaves to arrange for travel documents so that he can leave the country before the FBI finds out that he is fleeing. Cadence tries desperately to reach her purse where she keeps a handcuffs key, but moving the stool on a carpet is very difficult.
Before she gets even close to succeeding, the witness returns and sees what she is trying to do. He finds some rope and ties her to the stool, making it impossible for her to move. Nevertheless, she still tries to reach her bag, but it's hopeless. After a while, the witness says he is ready to depart and decides to be kind and not leave her sitting on the stool. Instead, he lays her on a bed and handcuffs her wrists to one of the posts, tying her ankles to the opposite post. He admits that he is attracted to Cadence and regrets that things didn't work out. He unbuttons the agent's jacket and has a feel of her breasts before he gags her and departs. Cadence struggles, but there is no way out of the handcuffs. She is trapped until she is missed by the agency. In the meantime, their star witness has been lost, along with any hopes she might have had of a promotion. One minute of bloopers in the end
